The Good Ole Days!

It seems that there isn’t time anymore
For just you and me.
We went together for so long,
I thought I’d never be free.

We danced until the midnight hour
And wished it would never end.
But then when it came time to leave,
I thought my heart would never mend.

You and I were very close,
As close as two can be.
But now as I am looking back,
Your love I really see.

Now that we have broken up
And gone our separate ways.
I think back to those special times,
And miss the good ole days.
